Cartilamine 1500

Cartilamine 1500, containing 1500 mg of glucosamine sulfate and 12 mg of vitamin C, is primarily intended for people with mild joint problems or those seeking to maintain joint health. It may be recommended for people with osteoarthritis or other joint conditions, as well as for athletes wishing to support their joints.

Cartilamine can be taken in the morning or at noon during a meal. Then continue taking it(them) during the same meal. If you realize that you have forgotten to take it during your usual meal, you can take Cartilamine at your next meal but never during your evening meal, given its vitamin C content.

If you notice that you have forgotten to take Cartilamine for one day, do not take a double dose the next day. Missing one day is not serious and will not affect your overall response to Cartilamine. Try to take Cartilamine daily thereafter.

Cartilamine is perfectly tolerated in the vast majority of people. However, rarely, digestive complaints, generally minor and transient, possibly attributable to taking Cartilamine, have been reported. The use of Cartilamine is not recommended in pregnant women or during breastfeeding (in the absence of data) as well as (due to its origin).

Cartilamine products do not contain iodine. However, if you are allergic to iodine, taking Cartilamine is not recommended as a precaution because you may be at risk of being allergic. The use of Cartilamine is not recommended in the event of a known allergy to one of its constituents, namely standard packaging agents for pharmaceutical tablets or pills (the full list is mentioned on the back of the box of each Cartilamine product).

Cartilamine 1500 is made from chitin, the key ingredient derived from crustacean shells.

Extraction of glucosamine sulfate from chitin:

• Chitin is extracted from the shells of crustaceans (such as crabs or shrimp) through a chemical process.
• Chitin is then converted into glucosamine sulfate by chemical or enzymatic hydrolysis. This step produces the form of glucosamine used in dietary supplements.

Combination of ingredients:

• Vitamin C is added to create the specific composition of Cartilamine 1500.

Tableting:

• The product is then processed into its final form in the form of tablets.

Quality control and packaging:

• Before being released to the market, the product undergoes quality testing to ensure that it meets purity and safety standards.
• Once approved, it is packaged and labeled with nutritional information and usage recommendations.

Being extracted from crustacean shells, glucosamine sulfate will not be suitable for a vegan diet.
